Another dream – This time I don’t know anyone. Without restraint My body leaves my tired mind. It always works out. It always works out anyway. I go on just to hear myself talk, So sincere but just a little too severe. It always works out. It always works out anyway. I’m always singing, always screaming, That’s where I’ll be if I can stand it, If I can’t help myself. If you need me. It always works out. It always works out anyway.

Should I 04:32
Crosses on the calendar again. Working like an amateur, mark it down. I’m counting down – – To what? I woke up screaming, I don’t know why, But I don’t feel well, and why should I? Should I? Tell me what I missed this time. Maybe I had something else in mind, If you don’t mind. So what? I must be dreaming! The stars are gone, but I don’t believe it, And why should I? Should I? Isn’t there an easy way out – Doing business with your friends? Is it safe to answer the phone? Is it ever gonna end? So what? I woke up screaming, I don’t know why, But I don’t feel well, and why should I? Should I?

Facing left, looking right, I guess I still feel alright. Every town looks the same, Surprise, it’s raining again. Who’s gonna hold you when you cry? Who’s gonna hold you when it’s time to say goodbye? Who’s gonna hold you up when nothing goes to plan? Who’s gonna hold your hand? Heavy thoughts with a sigh, You can’t say I didn’t try. Giving up, facing fears, Even strangers are stranger here. Who’s gonna hold you when you cry? Who’s gonna hold you when it’s time to say goodbye? Who’s gonna hold you up when nothing goes to plan? Who’s gonna hold your hand? It’s so easy to admit defeat, Run away, retreat and settle, But naturally, I’m afraid of what my friends might think. I was ready, just not able. Who’s gonna hold you when you cry? Who’s gonna hold you when it’s time to say goodbye? Who’s gonna hold you up when nothing goes to plan? Who’s gonna hold your hand?

Raise your glasses high, and praise the other land! Someone has to have done it right. Pomp and circumstance, displays of eloquence Let the darkness come to light. Live forever, and everything is fairer For the richer and the poorer in between. So we reject our pleasantries As we resound our peasantry – It’s not my place to intervene. Suffer quietly, behold the artistry, So depraved and so brazen! A vulgar sacrament endorsing violence; We were always out to win. Yield to temptation, forgive our trespasses As we continue trespassing against. Same old pretenses: This is the best that we can do. Invoke your Savior and repent! Quit wasting my time about it, Put up a fight. Raise your voice, say what you mean! Quit changing your mind about it, This isn’t right. Point your fingers, make a scene! Revolutionaries, make haste to the battlefield! Spread your testament so terse, Hide the evidence, and vow your silences – Consolations well rehearsed. Without convictions, affirm conventions. You know you’ll always be invincible. Beyond the questions, before the answers, Is it clear the truth is indefensible? Quit wasting my time about it, Put up a fight. Raise your voice, say what you mean! Quit changing your mind about it, This isn’t right. Point your fingers, make a scene!

Guilty Too 03:49
What is it that satisfies – Borrowing from stolen time? Save the drowned, we’re always here. The sun burns fast and disappears. I want to believe. Is it law that guides your tongue With throats to cut and whispers sung? The world is quiet, the sun is down. You love them. You love them, don’t you? You’re guilty. You’re guilty too.

Send me, I’ve got nothing better to do, And I don’t know what I would do if I were you. Somehow, I wasted all this time to show A piece of paper signed to stand as proof. I don’t want it anymore, I just thought that I should tell you What I always thought of you: I’d say it’s nothing personal, but then That’s all it ever was – That can’t be true. It seems like we’re in trouble now. Can’t say exactly when or how, but it’s always true. I don’t want it. I don’t want it anymore, I just thought that I should tell you What I always thought of you.

Bad Faith 05:20
Cloudy, His countenance reflects. Doubtless there are better days. Ahead or behind? He’s not himself enough to decide. Call it all bad faith. Some things he thought he’d always know. Things change – always someone else. So tired, overcast until the clouds burst at last. Call it all bad faith. Always overcome anymore. I’ve been here before.

She was a writer, she wrote it all down, She softened the edges And smoothed it all out; A halcyon vision of something profound. I am a rider, aimless, unstaid, Remiss to regard How far I have strayed; A wayfarer's dream that was never allayed. We were as children, as we've always been, Through sorrow and anger, Through forest and fen; Distracted by something as simple as time. How deep is the ocean! How violent the tides! Remanded by duty We wait to be tried.

Father, in your picture frame, How strange of me to call on You now. Summer, and your joie de vivre, How faintly I recall what I found: How I surrendered, And I’ll remember your name as I dot the “I”s And punctuate the final phrase. Cover, take cover. And pray the world won’t fall on you now. Patience. Omnipotence can even heal a Canaanite. Fettered in Union – To have been stretched so thin – Fighting just for something to defend. You, You read what I wrote. You know everything I know. Lead us on to what we have left. Raise the flag and burn it down! Bride of silence, if I call on you, Take me in the morning I insist. Heavy will the burden be, So leave me with a promise and a kiss. A shot is fired! The words echo and swell With little else but Seraphim to spare. You, You read what I wrote. You know everything I know. Lead us on to what we have left. Raise the flag and burn it down!
